Maybe. That or an antenna issue.

Here's another possibility though:

I come from New York, New York where there was a ton of bandwidth competition.. and where I got great HD radio service. However, here in Madison I've had up and down reception both in my car and in my den. I think the smaller market budget and perhaps smaller market talented engineers may be to blame. I don't mean to sound snobby. I probably just did. Oh well.
