Resources for better natural, on-air reading?

At the risk of being flamed, it's actually not the easiest thing to do. As an off the cuff emcee and group speaker, I find myself not having much problem with public speaking, but I've been doing many more reports / podcasts - where the material is prepared. I realize I sound like I'm reading - no matter what I do.

What better place to ask than on a forum with many professionals who need to do this?

Thus, I pose the question - know of any good resources, tips, techniques?
