Will we see talk shift to FM radio?

I've read a theory put out there by some people that within the next decade, with fewer and fewer people listening to AM radio, that political and sports talk will slowly creep over to the FM side, leaving AM essentially abandoned for specialty music, and religious broadcasters.

What do you guys think? Is that likely, or will it be pretty much the status-quo (IE: Talk radio on AM, and music on FM) for the foreseeable future?
