AA on MediaWI

This may be stupid but I'm a self - admitted newbie to the forum. I'm an intern at unnamedstation_here in La Crosse and my boss of all people told me not to visit this site from any work computer. I said I hadn't even heard of the site! (but thanks for telling me L O L)

On to my question. I have seen several posts here on MediaWI that say "AA" and "Courtesy AA." Can someone tell this n00b what AA is and does Courtesy AA mean whatever was posted is being sourced from whatever AA is?
