The Journal Sentinel's description of Carl Zimmermann as "The silver-haired dean of Milwaukee broadcast news" in its obituary is an apt description of him. Even more than Albert the Alley Cat, Carl Zimmermann made an important and lasting impression on TV6 and on the station's viewers.
