I'm not surprised Hogan would say something like this. His missive to CC's employees last Wednesday didn't emphasize LOCAL content but instead emphasized on Premiere Networks and Katz and mobile apps and anything else that seems as if it came down from the highest corporate levels instead of the station level.
I just remembered an old Milwaukee Brewers marketing line: "We're taking this thing National." That line could best describe CC now. If CC ever cared about anything on a local level, they certainly don't care about it now; their words and actions in the past 7+ days just emphasizes that attitude.
