I doubt they're going to fire Sykes. He's the face of WTMJ outside of sports and news.

As for everything else, I believe they will try to strengthen the non-political side of WTMJ. The news blocks such as Wisconsin's Morning News and Wisconsin's Afternoon News as well as Sports Central. They need to give everybody a reason to listen to the station, not just for politics. That's what WISN is for.

Playing AC music like they did prior to the early 90s along with their full service talk programming is no longer an option.

Everybody knows what 620 WTMJ is. Young and old. Some listen for the politics. Others listen for the sports play-by-play. Many radios are blasting 620, even inside businesses during Packers games.

Others just quickly tune in for a traffic report or school closings. What could be done here to bring in the people who simply tune in for a traffic report and then tune out?
