irst...it's Tom Langmyer...not Tim. Second...he left WGN but the shape he left it in was in large part due to one Randy Michaels and his wrecking ball days running the Tribune empire. Whether he was GM or PD or the janitor...he may not have much say in what decisions were being made above him.

Whether you agree with the article's description of Wagner or Skyes...the truth is they are identified as conservative talkers. You are right on your descriptions of Johnny B and Garry's shows - topical, entertainment based.

Regardless...the major difference between WGN and WTMJ is that 620 is winning and GN has been struggling to get back on track. And anyone who lasts eight years running a major market radio station including the nightmare years of Michaels & Zell and the bankruptcy knows what they're doing. Whether you agree with them or not...
