The vast majority of AM Talk stations like WISN have some sort of brokered programming on the weekends. Either that or some "Best of" weekday programming as well as lifestyle programming. WISN has a heavy amount of it.

First, it's a good source of cash. Second, nobody wants to come in on the weekends to do talk radio except for people who want to pay and it's a good source of income. Brokered programming is a CASH COW for the stations.

Much of these shows are of the lifestyle, home improvement, financial variety.

Brokered religious stations (Such as those owned by Salem) tend to run a lot of Purity Products and Health infomercials on the weekends.

Many talk stations in Wisconsin have Polka shows on Weekends. Some stations play music. Others run raw sports network feeds.

WRJN is leased out on Sunday to many religious and ethnic groups in addition to health programs. On Sunday night, WRJN still runs a few hours of Classical Music (The Sunday Evening Concert)

I don't think many of the non-syndicated hosts on the AM station in Kenosha are paid. Some are doing the shows for fun. Other shows are brokered (they run plenty of Purity Products blocks, and I'm pretty sure the Happenings Magazine show they run is leased advertising)

On Weekends they run automated 60s-70s oldies, as well as some oldies music programming which I believe is put on the air by a music store in Racine. Brokered. The rest is syndicated.

WXXM in Madison, has a lot of "Best-Of" feeds in addition to some brokered lifestyle talk shows.
