A Milwaukee Journal Sentinel story was featured on MSNBC tonight at length during Rachel Maddow's show, and it got me thinking. It's about the division in Milwaukee law enforcement as it relates to guns. We have Milwaukee Police Chief Flynn played on television nationwide, worldwide, after his rant about the need for responsible gun laws in Congress. Then there's Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clark telling our area in PSA's that we all need to go buy a gun. He ends up on Piers Morgan, Fox News, and today he HOSTS a local radio show after writing a "Chief Flynn got on tv and I didn't?!?!?!!?" letter to Lindsay Graham.

Christ, I thought Wisconsin was done with its non-stop bad press after Scott Walker's recall election. Apparently our media presence is forever doomed to make us all look like assholes.
