Are you really going to drink that Clear Channel kool aide? what flavor is it today? Sharkleberry Finn?

A thousand dollar 4x a day collective that sounds huge is nothing when nobody in the market wins. And trust me, the listeners are smarter than this they will figure it out if they haven't already.

Walmart style bargain rates on major market imaging? Don't fool yourself, there isn't a guy producing all the imaging for all the clear channel stations. They have an internal website where they post a shell and you plug in your call letters. And there are services like that for other radio companies too. Oh, and they post it on branding.clearchannel.com and then they post it on chase cuts which they sell to other radio companies. FYI. So that imaging you speak of is not Clear Channel Exclusive.

The guy at midwest may have worked bartz parties, but when is the next time Ryan Seacrest or Elvis Durran is going to be in Madison to do an event for Z104. Um...they aren't. EVER. Midwest properties are able to get face time with the listeners unlike clear channel.

How about the national premium choice playlist that CC forces on its stations. You know the one where they play the same song at the same time. Isn't that the same log that plays an average of the national research. What works in Miami and New York won't work in Madison. That's a fact. As its a different city with a different demographic of people living in the metro.

So? Should I go on?
