WISC-TV currently has an opening for a Meteorologist. This is a limited term employment opportunity needed to cover an extended leave of absence.
Primary duties include forecasting and producing weathercasts for on-air presentation on our various news broadcasts, along with radio and internet updates. Meteorology degree or forecasting experience required; previous radio/TV experience and familiarity with Weather Central graphics are a plus.
Our ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, ability to meet deadlines, and work well under pressure. We’re looking for creativity, credibility, and confidence in weather presentation.
