You're thinking of 87.7 which Milwaukeeans will remember being the frequency you could "take fox 6 with you!" when you left the house because the TV-6 frequency just happened to broadcast on 87.7. In Chicago 87.7 was initially launched as a Smooth Jazz station to replace WNUA. Everything later took a dump with Q101 and the guys running the Smooth Jazz 87.7 walked. Then WKQX-LP/Q87.7 came, brought back many of the old staff, similar (some say better) music. But it's not a real radio station and it's running into huge financial problems. Q87.7 is separate from q101.com. Confused yet?
