(Old news, but this was in The Capital Times today):

ESPN Radio switches stations here on New Year's Day

ESPN Radio fans in Madison will need to switch to the FM side of the radio dial on New Year's Day as the sports broadcasting giant changes its local affiliation to WTLX/FM 100.5 from WTSO/AM 1070.

ESPN has been on WTSO for nine and a half years.

The change was announced early in December. WTLX also plans to have a stronger signal in the Madison area, sending out radio waves from a tower in Madison instead of from a tower in Columbus.

WTSO will continue to be an all-sports radio station, featuring national pundits Jim Rome and Dan Patrick.

"The Big 1070" will also have a new morning drive time broadcast team featuring two well-known local broadcasters. Capital Times columnist and Badger football and basketball color analyst Mike Lucas and Badger play-by-play announcer Matt Lepay will be on the air on WTSO in the 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. slot Monday through Friday, beginning Jan. 5.
