Jim Packard, who spent the last 20+ years at WI Public Radio, died in New York. according to a story posted at www.madison.com.
I believe he worked at WISM-AM 1480 in its heyday, and I'm pretty sure he also worked for a time at "Radio Free Madison," WIBA-FM.
