It's true that while turning off the pilot would improve their signal. But what would really improve the station is not sounding like crap in the first place. Their local shows sound like they are talking into cheap PC headset mics.
: Why is WTLX in stereo with such a weak signal when 99% of their programming is in mono? 92.1 and 106.7 have their stereo pilots turned off and have greatly improved their coverage area.
