From what I understand the reason WPR's Classical Network is not featured on WHAD or any Milwaukee station is because the Classical Network also carries NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered. There is an agreement between WPR and Milwaukee Public Radio that WPR will not air those programs in the Milwaukee market.

: I see WHAD has a CP for a translator at 97.9 FM in West Allis. Is this on the air, and if so, is it relaying 90.7 or 90.7 HD2?

: I'm surprised WPR carries the Ideas network on WHAD instead of classical. Seems there'd be more of an audience (and pledge donors) for classical than the Ideas network, but maybe the Ideas network just isn't my cup of tea.

: And hey, maybe if/when Disney dumps its Radio Disney stations as rumored, WPR can pick up WKSH and move the Ideas network over there, freeing up WHAD for Classical.
