I just don't see HD radio catching on, unless somehow it is put into every car and other piece of equipment by default. It's clear that most people are not going to run out and buy an HD on their own, even after 10+ years of steady marketing attempts.

: It's not exactly a great sign for HD radio that Sony has apparently decided to get out of the HD radio business, especially since looking at the reviews, the XDR-F1HD was one of the best, if not the best, consumer-grade HD radio receiver out there.
