WMTV NBC15 & Clear Channel radio stations in Madison announce partnership.

WMTV NBC15 and Clear Channel radio stations in Madison announce an exciting new partnership.

WMTV NBC15 and Clear Channel radio stations will combine resources for news coverage, traffic reports, weather and sports.

“Clear Channel radio stations are dominant in Madison. Their legacy is incomparable. By working together, we will offer viewers and listeners the most extensive and dynamic news, weather and sports coverage in southern Wisconsin,” said Bob Smith, General Manager of WMTV NBC15 and Regional Vice President of Gray Television, Inc.

“I am excited about our new partnership with the team at NBC15. Both of our staffs have a commitment to providing South Central Wisconsin with the best news, weather and sports coverage and as we do, they have a true focus on the communities we serve,” said Jeff Tyler, Vice President & Market Manager for Clear Channel Radio.

Clear Channel stations include WZEE-FM (Z104 The Hit Music Channel), WIBA-FM (101.5 Classic Rock That Rocks), WMAD-FM (96.3 Star Country), WXXM (The Mic 92.1 Madison’s Progressive Talk), WIBA-AM (NewsTalk 1310) and WTSO (The Big 1070).

NBC15 is The Weather Authority. NBC15’s David George, Charlie Shortino, Amy Carlson and Chuck Koch will provide forecasts throughout the day on Clear Channel radio stations. They will also provide live weather updates during severe weather situations.
