My impression is that 96.3 is going for the younger audience and Q is now going for the older demo for some reason.

: My vote is for Austin. Not a fan of Patsy Cline on 106.3. Also it seemed more personable and friendly under the old PD. It seems everyone on there is afraid to talk.

: 96.3 has better music now than 106.3 that's for sure.

:
: : It's been almost a year since John Sebastian took over at Q. We've talked about him at length on this site. But what about ousted PD Brad Austin? He was not perfect to be sure, but does anyone miss the way that Q was run under his watch? (One thing I miss is how the jocks got to talk more.) Some would say neither Austin or Sebastian are any good I suppose. Maybe my Austin nostalgia stems from my dissapointment at how the new Q turned out. Any thoughts? Any suggestions for a new direction for Q without Sebastian? Maybe if we create enough of a buzz online, MWF will realize how much we miss Q the heritage station. (Remember when it cracked Arbitron #1 in the 90s?)
