: Dear John Sebastian:

: Your scheme to "turn around" Q106 isn't working. Just look a couple posts down. People think Q is weird. Your ideal of differentiating country stations was a noble one, and I admit it was fun at first. But there are no listeners who tune in to hear "Livin On a Prayer" and "Forever and Ever Amen" on the same station. (It's just an annoyance to most.)

: Your stunting aggravated people, only to return to the same format, anyway. You never retooled the morning show, which is still sorely needed. You took away all the jocks' enthusiasm by muzzling them. You have no real variety in your playlist, even if you are "eccentric". Mid-West Family gave you free reign over the station and you've squandered it-- no one cares about your "natural knack" for picking music. It's a big clusterf***.

: Star Country is proclaiming themselves the winner of the war, and they really are. They're ahead in the ratings and they sound so much better.

: Time for a flip.

I hear the reason for the "livin on a prayer" and all the "non" country they play is because "if it were new today it would be country"... there you go
