NATIONAL PUBLIC RADIO and WISCONSIN PUBLIC RADIO noncommercial WERN/MADISON, WI are being honored with RTNDA/UNITY AWARDS this year. The awards will be presented at the RTNDA AWARDS dinner in NEW YORK on OCTOBER 12th.

NPR won its award for "The Evolution of Native American Boarding Schools," while WERN took the large market radio honor for "Bridging the Shores: The Hmong-American Experience."
