NBC 15 in Madison posted an open anchor position last week -- for a 9PM newscast on its upcoming CW subchannel, an affiliation that was announced last December and is slated to begin this fall.

The CW in Madison, WI is searching for an Evening News Anchor to launch our 9:00pm newscast. Live in one of the best cities the Midwest has to offer. Make history as the first anchor of this new newscast while working out of the new WMTV newsroom and studios.

The ideal candidate will have a strong reporting and producing background. We are looking for someone that possesses versatility, speed and accuracy when it comes to writing, anchoring, and reporting. We're looking for someone who has a clear understanding of enterprise reporting and who can bring fresh ideas to our newsroom on a daily basis. This person will be the face of the station and needs to be able to connect with our community. We are a multi-platform organization and qualified candidates will excel in traditional television story telling as well as online innovation.
