Grill seeker

Bob Swokowski might whip up more than whatever is sitting on his grill on Saturday. WYOU hopes he can whip up some much-needed funding, too.

The community television station's first fundraising drive continues this week, and on Saturday, March 7, "Cooking With Bob" will be broadcast live from the channel's parking lot at 609 E. Washington Ave.

The program has created a cult following and some controversy. It features Swokowski grilling up whatever he feels like, sometimes with a message or statement or something that makes viewers worry about just what is roasting on the grill.

The live broadcast can be seen on Channel 95 (analog) and 991 (digital). It will also be streamed live at wyou.org.
