I was listening to some E-Skip activity and heard a Conservative Talk station from Texas. It was running the nationally syndicated Mark Levin Show.
This guy was literally YELLING and SCREAMING. It was almost impossible to listen to. This guy is on both WABC and WLS-AM among others, for market clearance.
Once they get rid of people yelling and screaming at people, maybe the format will have a chance.
This seems all too common with political talk radio in general. I don't think a female audience wants to hear a guy yelling at screaming at them.
I know Cumulus is trying to get rid of that type of thing on their stations, but they're also part of the problem, because they are the ones syndicating hosts like Mark Levin and Michael Savage, both who are yellers and screamers and really hard to listen to. Think of all the stress the audience gets from listening to that. There's your problem. Rush, like the others tends to yell and scream and insult people. That's what needs to stop.
