One thing that KTI has is better processing. WMIL's audio is just awful. Way too loud, processed and clipped, and way too much limiting. Not to mention the bland VT'ing typically found on IHeart stations. WMIL is very painful to listen to.

KTI could definitely work, especially if they use better audio processing and a heavier live and local presence. The 94.5 dial position and WKTI call letters are local institutions, so they carry plenty of weight. And Scripps, while not being overly experienced in radio (they're basically a TV company), has the resources to be very aggressive.
