Former iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk WIBA-A/MADISON host MITCH HENCK is returning to the local airwaves on WIBA's sister News-Talk WXXM (THE MIC 92.1) starting MARCH 23rd.

HENCK, who left WIBA in JUNE 2014, has been webcasting since OCTOBER 2014 and doing commentaries at madison.com and columns for the WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL, and is moving into syndicating his show. The program will air 8-11a (CT) weekdays on THE MIC in the MADISON market.

“I’m thrilled to be returning to the iHEARTMEDIA airwaves, where I got my start in Talk radio,” HENCK said.
“As we looked to expand our local programming on WXXM, the chance to work with MITCH again was too good to pass up,” iHEARTMEDIA/MADISON SVP/Programming TIM SCOTT said.

This replaces The Stephanie Miller Show? If so, that is a VERY VERY bad programming move. Madisonites love their Steph, and she has been very good to Madison, doing at least 3 or 4 appearances here including her sold-out Sexy Liberal Comedy Tour.
