Squeaky voice only works for female on-air talent

If I had a mouse-like squeaky voice like Vicki (Vikki?) McKenna, as a man I would be out of a job. But because she is a woman they let her squeak for 5 hours a day between Milwaukee and Madison stations. It's so painful.
