These jingles were put into place in late 1991 or early 1992.

They had major competition at the time. WJZQ (Power 95)

There was also Hot 102 in Milwaukee and WYTZ in Chicago for CHR at the time. But WJZQ was their biggest competition and leaned a lot more rhythmic than WXLC did until 1993.

WJZQ became 95 WIIL ROCK in September of 1992.

Z-104 was already the lone CHR in the area by 1991 when WJJO came onto 94.1

WXLC flipped to Modern AC and later AC/Hot AC in 1994.
