Ashley and Fish were never exactly 'street' or anything to begin with. They're both very white. Fish just looks more ridiculous with the gold chains and red hair than Ashley does in tight jeans and a red cap. Ashley sounds good over at Q106. Fish will do fine at 93-1, too. The show has always been about Fish. As much as I know he's a douchebag personally, he's excellent at working with people on-air. He gets "it" and gets it out of you. I think he actually does pretty good radio when it's just him hanging out with the co-host. He's also fantastic at appearances. Listeners have no idea the kind of stuff he has in his closet, they LOVE him. Which is great for a station at 93-1 that's still really pushing a boulder up hill in terms of gaining credibility in the market. I know Fish likes a challenge, though, and Ashley I feel like she worked hard and got an amazing opportunity across the hall at a heritage station.
